In some situations, the user performs an action that requires review by the administrator or manager. For example, when the user wants to follow a learning activity from the library that requires approval, or when the user has uploaded a certificate from an external exam. In such situations, a request is received from the user (automatically), which the manager or administrator can then review.
Where can I review the requests?
Manager: The requests can be found under 'My Team' and then the 'Approvals' tab.

What types of requests are there?
Requests from the Library
For some learning activities from the Library, users need to request approval before they can start. These requests will appear in the approvals section. By clicking on the checkmark or cross at the end of the line, you can approve or reject the request. When rejecting a request from the Library, you can optionally provide a reason. This reason will be included in the email to the user.
Requests from the Library can be approved by either the manager or the administrator. In the default settings, you specify who will be responsible for reviewing requests from the Library for your academy.Reviewing assignments
When a user submits an assignment, it will appear in the approvals section. At the end of the line, there is an eye icon. Clicking on it will take you to the page to review the assignment. Here you can download the submitted assignment, provide feedback, give a score, and approve or reject the assignment. If you reject the assignment, you can choose to allow the user to resubmit by turning on the toggle switch under 'Submit assignment again.'
For each assignment, you determine who assesses the assignment: the administrator or the manager, of a specific assessor. .
Reviewing a qualification inventory
When a user completes a qualification inventory, the manager or administrator can view and assess it. By clicking on the eye icon at the end of the line, you can view which qualifications are being assigned and/or removed. You can approve or reject them, and optionally add a comment. This comment will be included in the email to the user. Upon approval, the qualifications will be added to and/or removed from the user's profile.
Both the administrator and the manager will have access to the qualification assessment to be reviewed.Reviewing certificates
When a user uploads a certificate for an external exam or qualification, the administrator or manager can view and assess it. By clicking on the eye icon at the end of the line, you can download the certificate. You can approve or reject the certificate by using the checkmark or cross at the end of the line. When rejecting a certificate, you can optionally provide a reason. This reason will be included in the email to the user.
Both the administrator and the manager will see the certificate to be assessed.
Reviewing portfolio items
When a user adds a portfolio item, he can choose to have the item assessed. An approved portfolio item counts as a fully completed learning activity, for example for reporting. By clicking on the eye at the end of the line, you will enter a screen to view the portfolio item:

If the user has added a comment, it will be visible here
Optionally provide an explanation why the portfolio item is approved or rejected. This will be included in the email to the user

Tip!
Using the status filter located at the top right corner of the approvals overview, you can filter by all, open, approved, and rejected reviews.
