What are learning objectives?
Within your online academy, you can add learning objectives to each learning format you create. A learning objective is an attribute that indicates what a format is about and defines what the user should have learned after completing it.
Learning objectives are used to categorise learning formats and serve as a basis for assessments and Brainpower.
How do I create learning objectives?
When creating a learning format, either in the Warehouse or within a learning activity, you have the option to create and add learning objectives. Does the objective you want to add not exist yet? As soon as you’ve typed in the objective and clicked “Create learning objective”, it will be created immediately. If the objective has already been created, it will appear as you start typing.
Example learning objectives
A learning objective may look like this:
The user knows [the 12 provinces of the Netherlands].
The user can describe in their own words [how an internal combustion engine works].
The user can explain [how impressionistic characteristics are reflected in a painting].
The user can [formulate additional rules based on existing rules].
