In the online academy, you can use the import and export function in various locations. For example, this allows you to enrol a large group of users in a learning activity at once, or generate an export of all your users’ progress within qualifications. This article explains exactly how it works and outlines all the different options available.

Importfile

With an import file, you can make bulk changes to users in your online academy. For example, do you want to remove a large group of users from the online academy at once? Or enrol multiple users in several learning activities at the same time? Then using an import file is the most efficient method.

What are the different types of imports?

Below you can see the different types of imports available in the online academy. Click on each type to learn more about how it works in detail.

Exportfile

With an export file, you can export data from the online academy – for example, to save it to your computer or share it with colleagues. Below, we cover the different places where you can generate export files. The option to create an export file is indicated by the downward arrow ⬇. In most locations, you can choose to export the entire table or only the current view based on the filters you have applied.

Every export file you create is stored in the download centre. From there, you can download the file.

Where can I create the different export files?

  • Users: an overview of all users in the online academy.

  • Content: an overview of all participants per learning activity, including their progress.

  • My Team:

    • Learning Activities: an overview of all participants per learning activity, including their progress.

    • Learning Playlists: an overview of all participants per Learning Playlist, including their progress.

    • Qualifications: an overview of all participants and their qualifications.

  • Organisational Structure: an overview of the companies and/or departments in the online academy.

  • Billing:

    • Monthly: an overview of new or renewed users added in the selected month.

    • All Users: an overview of all active users in this environment.

    • Total Export: an overview of new and renewed users from different environments within your group.
