In some cases, you may want to unenroll users from a learning activity. The activity will still appear under "Completed" for the user but will no longer be accessible.

Manually unenroll users

You can manually unenroll users from learning activities. This can be done via the user overview or directly from the learning activity.

Unregister per user

  1. In the menu on the left, go to "Users".

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the relevant user.

  3. Go to the "Enrollments" tab.

  4. Find the learning activity you want to unenroll the user from, and under "Actions", select "Unenroll".

    • Do you want to unenroll a user from multiple learning activities? Select those activities and click the pencil icon with the cross in the top right corner.

Unenroll users in bulk

Here’s how you can unenroll multiple users—possibly from multiple learning activities at once - using the import function:

  1. In the menu on the left, go to "Users".

  2. Click the upload icon in the top right corner.

  3. Choose the action you want to perform, in this case "Unenroll users".

  4. Select the learning activities from which you want to unenroll users.

  5. Generate an import template based on the selected activities.

  6. Fill in the template with the correct email addresses, and mark an "x" next to each activity the user should be unenrolled from.

  7. Save the file as an .xlsx and upload it. The system will check the file for any errors.

  8. Before finalizing the import, you’ll see a summary indicating how many users will be unenrolled, who couldn’t be unenrolled, and which rows couldn’t be imported.

  9. Ready? Click "Start import" at the bottom of the screen.

Unenroll from Learning Playlist

If you unenroll a user from a Learning Playlist, this only applies to the Learning Playlist itself. The user is not automatically unenrolled from the individual learning activities within the playlist. Unenrolling from the Learning Playlist makes the playlist inaccessible to the user, but all underlying learning activities will still appear in their progress overview. To fully unenroll the user, including the associated learning activities, you’ll need to unenroll them per activity—either manually or in bulk.

Remove registration

Note!

Deleting registrations will result in all information linked to the registration being permanently removed. This action cannot be undone!

In addition to unenrolling a user from a learning activity, it is also possible to completely delete a registration. The learning activity will then no longer appear under "Completed" for the user, and all related history will be removed as well.

If you delete a registration on a Learning Playlist, this only removes the registration for the Learning Playlist itself. The registrations for the underlying learning activities are not deleted.

    • Do you want to unenrol a user from multiple learning activities? Select the learning activities and click the bin icon in the top right corner.

  5. Click “Ok” to confirm your choice.
