Sometimes you may need to unenroll users from a learning activity. In this case, the learning activity will remain in the 'Completed' status for the user, but they will no longer have access to it.

If you unenroll a user from a Learning Playlist, this only applies to the Learning Playlist itself. The user is not automatically unenrolled from the underlying learning activities.

Manually unenroll users

Unregister per user

To manually unenroll a user from a learning activity, go to the 'Users' button in the menu and select the user by clicking on the pencil icon next to their name. Then go to 'Enrollments' and choose 'Unenroll' from the dropdown menu under 'Actions'.

It is also possible to select multiple learning activities. Using the pencil icon in the top right corner, you can unenroll the user from the selected learning activities.

Unregister per learning activity

You can manually unregister users from a learning activity through 'Courses' in the menu on the left. Select the appropriate learning activity and go to the 'Participants' tab. Choose the users you want to unregister, then click the pencil icon at the top right of the table.

Unenroll users in bulk

If you have multiple users that you want to unenroll at once, possibly from multiple learning activities, you can also use the import function.

Click on the import icon in the top right of the 'Users' page and follow these steps:

  1. Select the action you want to take, in this case, 'Unregister users'.

  2. Select the learning activities from which you want to unenroll your users. You can search for activities using the search bar.

  3. Generate an import template based on the activities you have selected. Then, fill in the import file with the correct email addresses and an 'x' next to the learning activities from which the users should be unenrolled.

  4. Save the file (as an xlsx file) and upload it. The file will be checked for any errors.

  5. Before you finalize the import, you will see a final check. Here, you will see how many users will be unenrolled, who cannot be unenrolled, and which lines may not be imported. Satisfied? Then choose 'Start import' at the bottom of the screen.

Remove registration

In addition to unenrolling a user from a learning activity, it is also possible to completely remove a registration. The learning activity will then no longer be visible to the user under 'Completed', and all history associated with it will be deleted.

If you delete a registration for a Learning Playlist, this only affects the registration for the Learning Playlist itself. The registrations for the underlying learning activities are not deleted.

๐Ÿšจ Please note: removing registrations is irreversible.

Remove registration per user

You can delete a registration for a user from a learning activity via the 'Users' button in the menu. Select the user by clicking on the pencil icon next to their name. Then go to 'Enrollments' and choose 'Remove' from the dropdown menu under 'Actions'.

It's also possible to select multiple learning activities. Using the trash can icon in the top right, you can delete the registrations for the selected learning activities for the user.

Remove registration per learning activity

You can remove a user's registration from a learning activity through 'Courses' in the menu on the left. Select the appropriate learning activity and go to the 'Participants' tab. Choose the users whose registration you want to remove, then click the trash can icon at the top right of the table.

Please note: In certain instances, a user is enrolled in a learning activity based on a qualification. If you remove a registration from a learning activity for which the user was enrolled based on a qualification, the user will automatically be re-enrolled after the registration is removed.
