With this learning activity, you can gather feedback from your users on, for example, an E-learning or Learning Playlist. You can structure and customize this evaluation yourself. Think of different types of questions and background colours.

How do I create an evaluation?

  • Go to ‘Courses’ via the menu bar.

  • Click on ‘Add’.

  • Choose the learning activity ‘Inventory module’ and click on ‘Evaluation’.

  • Add the general information. Fill in the title, study time, theme(s), and optionally a description. Then, click on 'Create new learning activity’.

  • Title. Give the evaluation a title, so you can easily find it in the library.

  • Author.

  • Study time. Here, you can provide an indication of the study time.

  • Themes. Add at least one theme.

  • Description. Here, you can add additional information about the learning activity. For example, the main objective of it.

Setting up an evaluation

Next, you can create different paths within the evaluation. You can choose to focus each path on a different aspect. By giving each path a title, users will know which path (topic) they are working on.

You can add the following components to each path:

  • Question: A multiple-choice question.

  • Open question: A question where users can provide an unrestricted answer.

  • Question with a video: A question accompanied by a video.

  • Rating question: A question where the user answers using a star rating.

  • Text: Accompanying text, such as an introduction to a new path.

  • Video: A standalone video.

Logical decisions within an evaluation

Similar to other inventories, you can incorporate logical decisions into an evaluation. This can be done at a Question and a Question with video. By doing so, you can, for example, follow up with further questions based on a user's previous answer.

How do I enroll my users in an evaluation?

  • Publishing

Once your evaluation is complete, you can publish it. To do this, click on the 'Unpublished changes' button in the top right corner of your screen. Changes made to the evaluation afterward will not be applied automatically; they will only take effect once you click 'Publish changes'. This allows you to publish adjustments only when you are ready, and allows users to work on the evaluation undisturbed.

  • Activating

After you have published the content of the evaluation, you can return to the activity settings. First, change the status to 'Published'. Then refresh the page and toggle the switch to 'Active'. Once the evaluation is 'Active', you can enroll users in it.

  • Enrolling

For how to enroll users, please refer to this article.

Results of the evaluation

To view the evaluation results, go to 'Courses' and find the evaluation. Then, navigate to the Analytics tab to access the results. Users fill out the evaluation anonymously, so you won't be able to identify an individual's answers.
