In your online academy, you can add links to external pages. This allows you to make interesting articles accessible from within your academy.

How do I add a link?

You can add a link as a standalone learning activity as a microlearning. You can also add a link as a learning format within a learning activity. Both methods will be discussed below.

Link as a microlearning

  1. From the menu bar on the left, go to "Content".

  2. Click on โ€œAddโ€.

  3. Choose "Microlearning" as the type of learning activity and click on "Link".

  4. Add the general information.

    • Title: Give the learning activity a title so you can easily find it in the library.

    • Author: By default, the academy name is used as the author name.

    • Study time: Here you can enter an indication of the study time.

    • Themes: Add at least one theme.

    • Skills: Add up to five skills here that you develop with this learning activity. This is optional.

  5. Copy the URL you want to use. Optionally, you can add an image which will show beside the title.

  6. Click on "Create new learning activity".

Link as a learning format within a learning activity

  1. Open the learning activity in which you want to add the learning format via "Content", and click "Edit".

  2. Select the learning format "Link."

  3. Add a title. The link will be saved as a learning format in the Warehouse based on the title. You can hide the title from users by clicking the eye icon next to the title.

  4. Copy the URL you want to use. Optionally, you can add an image which will show beside the title.

  5. Click "Save".

Tip!

You can add learning objectives and tags to learning formats. Learning objectives are useful for creating exams based on specific objectives. By using tags, you can easily find content in the Warehouse. As you start typing, suggestions will appear for learning objectives and tags you have previously used.
