A definition card is useful for explaining and practicing terms or concepts. First, the term is shown together with its explanation. When a user clicks "Practice your knowledge," the term appears on the front of the card and the explanation on the back. These cards make it easy for users to test whether they understand the meaning of a specific term.
How do I add definition cards?
Open the e-learning or microlearning you want to add the learning format to via "Content", and click "Edit".
Select the learning format "Definition cards".
Add a title and, if needed, a description. The learning format will be saved in the Warehouse based on the title. You can hide the title from users by clicking the eye icon next to it.
Add the definition cards. Enter the title (term) and content (explanation) for the first card. Then click "Add card" to add more definition cards, each with its own title and content. The content can include text, but you can also add images, tables, and different content blocks by clicking the + icon to the left of the text area.
Tip!
You can add learning objectives and tags to learning formats. Learning objectives are useful for creating exams based on specific objectives. By using tags, you can easily find content in the Warehouse. As you start typing, suggestions will appear for learning objectives and tags you have previously used.
