Do you have an audio clip that supports your content or learning objectives?
You can easily add it to an e-learning or microlearning.
Audio clips offer a nice change of pace for the user and can contribute to more effective learning.
How do I add audio?
Open the e-learning or microlearning you want to add the learning format to via "Content", and click "Edit".
Select the learning format "Audio".
Add a title and, optionally, a description. The audio file will be saved as a learning format in the Warehouse based on the title. If you want to hide the title from users, click the eye icon next to the title.
Add the audio file. Drag the file into the Drag & Drop area or click “Choose a file.”
Tip!
You can add learning objectives and tags to learning formats. Learning objectives are useful for creating exams based on specific objectives. By using tags, you can easily find content in the Warehouse. As you start typing, suggestions will appear for learning objectives and tags you have previously used.
Which file formats can I add?
The following file formats are supported in your online academy:
MP3
OGG
WebM
Note!
We do not support MP4A files.
How can I use audio clips strategically?
Ensure that the audio fragment is no 'read out-loud' version of the earlier added text. Audio fragments work best when they complement the text, for example by going deeper into a certain aspect.
Always use audio of good quality. Ensure that it's lucid and clearly audible.
Choose audio that connects to the tone and language use of the rest of your content.
