Create an App Connector in AFAS Profit to link with your online academy

In AFAS Profit, you can create an App Connector to set up a connection with your online academy. This article explains how to create this App Connector.

Step 1: Add a new app connector

  1. Log in to AFAS Profit.

  2. Navigate to General / Management / App connector.

  3. Click on New.

  4. Add a new App Connector with the following settings:

    • Description: Rakoo

    • Automatically generate token: Yes

    • Create a new user group: Yes

    • Create a new user: Yes

Step 2: Add GetConnectors

  1. In the App Connector wizard, click Next to add GetConnectors.

  2. Click Actions > Import to import the GetConnector you received from Rakoo. Check with your Customer Success Manager to find out which GetConnector you need to import.

Step 3: Generate token

  1. Click Finish.

  2. The generated token needs to be configured in Rakoo for authorization. Share the token with your Customer Success Manager for this purpose.

Step 4: Discuss mapping

Work with your Customer Success Manager to review the functional requirements. Determine which data you want to make available in Rakoo or for which target groups you want to enable Rakoo. Once the functional requirements are clear, you will receive an overview of the mapping from us. This mapping will show you which data fields we receive from the GetConnector and how we will link them to the data fields within Rakoo. The goal is to make only the necessary fields available in Rakoo.
