Manually marking a learning activity as completed

Learn how to manually complete a registration for a learning activity as an administrator

Learning activities are automatically marked as completed when the user has gone through the activity. For example, when a user has completed an e-learning module and met all the completion requirements, or when they have submitted an assignment and it has been approved.

In some cases, you may want to manually complete a registration – for instance, if the user no longer needs to follow the learning activity in full. This article explains how to do that.

How do I mark a learning activity as complete?

  1. Go to "Users" via the menu on the left side of the screen.

  2. Search for the user for whom you want to manually complete a learning activity.

  3. Click the pencil icon in the row of that user.

  4. Go to the "Registrations" tab.

  5. Find the relevant learning activity and click on "Actions".

  6. Select "Change status to completed".

    The learning activity is now marked as completed for the user. In the user's overview, it will now appear under completed.
