With editing rights, you define which administrators have access to which learning activities for editing purposes. This allows you to, for example, grant Administrator X access to all learning activities available in your academy, while Administrator Y only has access to a selected number of learning activities. This way, you can prevent all administrators from freely viewing, editing, or even deleting all learning activities.
How do I grant administrators editing rights for a learning activity?
You can define per learning activity which administrators are allowed to have editing rights for that activity. To grant an administrator access to a learning activity, they must have the appropriate role with the necessary rights. Below, we explain step by step how to grant an administrator editing rights for a specific learning activity:
Grant the administrator you want to give editing rights for a learning activity the right "Create & edit new learning activities". You can read how to do this in the article about roles & rights.
Go to "Content" via the menu on the left and search for the relevant learning activity.
Go to the "Settings" tab.
Click the "Add" button in the "Add administrators" section.
Select the administrators you want to grant editing rights for the selected learning activity.
The selected administrators will now be able to view, edit, and delete this learning activity.
Note!
For learning activities, you can only add administrators who have the right to 'Create & edit new learning activities'. Administrators with the right to 'Manage all learning activities' cannot be added here as they already have access to all learning activities by default.
