With editing rights, you determine which administrators have access to which learning activities. This way, you can decide that administrator X, for example, has access to all learning activities in your academy, while administrator Y only has access to a limited number of learning activities. This can prevent all administrators from simply viewing, editing, or even deleting all learning activities!
How do I grant administrators editing rights for a learning activity?
You can determine which administrators have editing rights for each learning activity. In order to grant an administrator access to a learning activity, they must have the appropriate role with rights. We will guide you through the steps to give an administrator editing rights for a specific learning activity:
To give an administrator editing rights to a learning activity, you need to grant them the "Create & edit new learning activities" right. You can learn how to do this by reading the article on roles and rights.
Navigate to the "Courses" section in the menu and search for the relevant learning activity.
Go to the "Settings" tab.
Click on the "Add" button in the "Add admin" section.
Select the administrators to whom you want to give editing rights to the learning activity.
The selected administrators can now view, edit, and delete this learning activity.
🚨Note that for learning activities, you can only add administrators who have the right to 'Create & edit new learning activities'. Administrators with the right to 'Manage all learning activities' cannot be added here as they already have access to all learning activities by default.
