You have created a new learning activity and would like to test it. That's a great idea! The 'Courses' page is designed so that what you see as an administrator is, in most cases, what a user will see. Of course, it's always a good idea to test how a learning activity runs before a user actually takes it. Here's how to do it!

View learning activities as a user

  1. Create a test user account.

In order to test your learning activities, you will need a user account. It is advisable to use a test account for this purpose. This way, the activities you test will not impact the progress on your actual user account. As an administrator, you can create this test user account yourself. Afterwards, you can enroll the user account in the learning activities you wish to test.

  2. Log in as a user and test learning activities.

There are two ways to log in, the second of which is the easiest:

    1. Log in with your username and password.

When creating your user account, you can send an invitation email. With the link in the invitation email, you can set your password.

Note that it takes 30 minutes before the invitation email is sent. This is done to prevent users from being flooded with our emails. Multiple messages, such as registrations for learning activities, can be summarized in one email in this way.

    2. Log in to your user account through your administrator account.

As an administrator, you can also log in as the user. In the user overview, you can click on the key at the end of the user's line. You will then log in as this user.

Please note! Actions on user accounts are saved and are final. If you log in to an employee or student's user account and go through learning activities, progress will be saved. You cannot undo this. Therefore, it is recommended to use a separate test user account for the purpose of testing learning activities.
