Connect AFAS to your online academy

Many organisations store specific data about employees or clients in various HRM or CRM systems. As a result, data is maintained and managed in different locations across the organisation.

For instance, if you use an industry-specific application alongside our software, there’s no need to enter the same data twice. AFAS connectors ensure that both applications are linked in real time and can exchange data securely.

With AFAS Profit, you can create an App connector to set up an integration with your online academy. Read below to learn how to configure this app.

How do I link AFAS to Rakoo?

Step 1: Add a new app connector

  1. Log in to AFAS Profit.

  2. Navigate to “General”, then “Management”, and then “App connector”.

  3. Click “New”.

  4. Add a new App connector with the following settings:

    • Description: Rakoo

    • Automatically generate token: Yes

    • Create a new user group: Yes

    • Create a new user: Yes

Step 2: Add GetConnectors

  1. In the App connectors wizard, click “Next” to proceed to adding GetConnectors.

  2. Click “Actions” and then “Import” to import the GetConnector you received from Rakoo. Check with your Customer Success Manager to find out which GetConnector you need to import.

Step 3: Generate token

  1. Click “Finish”.

  2. The generated token must be configured in Rakoo to enable authorisation. Share the token with your Customer Success Manager for this purpose.

Step 4: Discuss mapping

Together with your Customer Success Manager, you will review the functional requirements – such as which data you want to make available within Rakoo or which target groups should have access to Rakoo. Once these are defined, you’ll receive a mapping overview from us. This overview shows which data fields we receive from the GetConnector and how we will link them to the data fields within Rakoo. Of course, the goal is to make only the necessary fields available. Any unnecessary fields can be removed from the GetConnector.
